Fundraising event with dinner for renovation projects for Jami Masjid al-Qurtaba Rotterdam held on Sunday, 30 August 2026 at PICR.

Dear all.
I am filled with deep gratitude for each & every member of PICR fundraising committee for organising this event held on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
Organizing an event of this scale for our beloved mosque - Jami Masjid al-Qurtaba Rotterdam and community requires immense sacrifice, time, and energy. You answered the call with grace and excellence.

Thank you all for your outstanding dedication and hard work in making this fundraising event an incredible success. Your commitment ensured we met our goals and strengthened our community bonds. Because of your unwavering commitment, we have secured the resources needed to finance our community initiatives and support our sacred space in ensuring its safety, security renovation and embellishment, where prayers, education & socialising come together.

Starting our program with the recitation of the Holy Quran and an inspiring opening Khitab by Qibla Iftekhar Hussain Shah sahib set a respectful and blessed tone for our challenging event.

The combination of excellent compering by Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq sahib, persuasive speeches, especially by Mr. Anwar Saqib, President Pakistan Business Forum Amsterdam and par excellence visual presentation done by Malik brothers were perfectly executed to bring the message across in order to drive donations for the noble cause.

I personally thank Mr. M. Jamil sahib who was one of the driving force in reaching out Pak dutch business community living in The Netherlands for this fund raising event.

Mr. Khawar Ch. role in coordinating many facets of the program was commendable & is much appreciated.

I sincerely express gratitude to all volunteers especially Mr Ali our media person for his excellent services rendered fee sabeelillah. Their sincere dedication, time, and selfless efforts given without expectation of any worldly reward. Their selfless work builds strong communities and brings immense blessings.

Last not the least I thank Mr. Maqsood Sadiq sahib, (our huismeester) for all the services rendered by him with maximum availability. Jazakallah khair.

We equally thank our donors for their generous support at this fundraising event. Their kindness helps us reach our goals and fund vital work. We are deeply grateful for their investment (Sadqa e Jaria) in our mission and for making a lasting, positive difference in our community.

Our social thanks to Master M. Saleh for generously donating full saving box / money box for the noble cause and master Ahmad Ishfaq for his generous donation in cash. What an excellent way of educating young kids the value for money & value for charity. May Allah (SWT) bless their parents & children for this.

More importantly you, the organising committee created an atmosphere of unity, faith and discipline that everyone present could feel and appreciate. May Allah ( SWT) reward your sincere intentions, bless your families, and multiply your efforts. Thank you for being the backbone of this community.

I would like to Thank management of Dehli Darbaar restaurant & catering services for the truly delicious dinner. May Allah bless their business with immense barakah, success, and continuous growth. Ameen.
